๐Ÿงก Every Child Matters ๐Ÿงก

Today we wear orange to honour the children who never made it home, remember residential school survivors and their families, and recognize the importance of listening, learning and moving forward together.

Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, loved and respected. ๐Ÿงก

๐ŸŽƒ WOW โ€” What a Busy Week! ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

We had an action-packed week at Fort Assiniboine School!

Our Kโ€“6 students had a fantastic field trip to the Levy Pumpkin Patch, where they picked their own pumpkins, enjoyed a trip across the Athabasca River on the Klodike Ferry, and made another fun stop at the Mellowdale Corn Maze & Mellowdale Dairy. What a fun-filled day of adventure and memories! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿšข๐ŸŒฝ

We wrapped up the week with our Terry Fox Run. Even though the rain made for a very wet afternoon, our students and staff showed amazing spirit and determination! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

A huge THANK YOU to:
๐ŸŽƒ The Levy Family for hosting us at the pumpkin patch
๐ŸŒฝ Mellowdale Dairy for welcoming us
๐Ÿ” DDC Trucking and Little Ranch Cafe for providing a wonderful lunch on Thursday
๐Ÿฆ Allan and Joy Oโ€™Brien for treating everyone to ice cream after our very wet Terry Fox Run!

We are so grateful for the incredible support of our community. Thank you for helping make these special experiences possible for our students! โค๏ธ
