💚Meet your Birchwood educators💚

📚 Together, we bring over 50 years of combined experience in early childhood education

🧠 Our educators hold diplomas and degrees in Child Studies, Education, and Early Childhood Education

⭐️ We currently have 4 Level 3 educators on our team - and soon that number will grow to 6!

🤝We proudly partner with Max Educational Services, supporting our inclusive learning environment and providing access to funded services like SLP, OT, EA’s, and psychological support

🍃 We’re passionate about nature-based education and incorporate it into our daily learning

♥️ Our team is committed to ongoing professional development in child development, education, and psychology, with a strong focus on social and emotional growth

🧩 Our approach is grounded in neuroscience and project-based learning - we know children learn best through connection, hands-on experiences, and exploring their interests in meaningful ways

💭We incorporate Spanish into our program, giving children early exposure to language in a fun and natural way

🎶 We’re proud to offer music experiences supported by a professionally trained PhD, enriching children’s learning through rhythm, creativity, and expression

📖 We use programs like Lively Letters and Heggerty to support literacy, while prioritizing a hands-on approach because we know that’s how children (and adults!) learn best

We’re passionate about children, learning, and development, we bring a great sense of humour to our days - and fun fact: one of us is even a secret superstar on the basketball court! 🏀

Our apologies for the delay!

🍃 We are attempting to license summer camps for mixed age groups (3-8) so families can access the Affordability Grant and pay $326.25/month versus $300/week for camps.
All paperwork has been submitted and we are awaiting a decision.

🌞 If we cannot run as a mixed-age licensed camp, we will still run our regular camps (ages 3-8).
