🌞Time flies when you're having fun!

Our grade 5 students took learning outdoors last week as they tested clay sundials they created with Clay for Kids. From unique designs too hands-on discoveries, students loved exploring the science behind telling time using nothing but sunshine and creativity.

💛 We feel incredibly fortunate to have recently welcomed .chriskoch to our school community. His inspiring message and positive outlook left a lasting impact on students and staff alike. We were also proud to celebrate our own CHAMP, M. 🌟

3S took advantage of the nice weather last week and took Book Club outside. There's something special about reading in nature. 🌳💚

5M students brought in their own surplus of goods for their market day where they had to barter, trade and pay taxes!

🌙✨ Grade 5 absolutely phased us with their incredible moon projects! The classroom was truly glowing as students showcased their understanding of the lunar cycle through creative, hands-on designs. 🚀🌕

Out‑of‑School Care Opportunity for Heritage Heights Families

We’re pleased to share that we are partnering with award-winning TOPP KIDS, who will offer out of school programming right at Heritage Heights, starting this Fall!

TOPP KIDS provides a safe, welcoming space where children can:
✅ Play and stay active
✅ Build friendships and confidence
✅ Explore interests and develop life skills
✅ Learn through fun, child‑led activities

Their programs focus on supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development during those important hours outside the school day.
Participation in TOPP KIDS is optional, and registration is managed directly through their organization. Families interested in learning more can explore whether this program is a good fit for their child.

🚀👽 6P recently blasted off into their Planet Projects! Students designed and built aliens specially adapted to survive on their chosen planet. From extreme temperatures to unique atmospheres, their creations showed amazing understanding of planetary characteristics and creative adaptations. Great work, 6P! 🌎🪐✨
