We’re incredibly excited to welcome Coach Tait to the EVDSC coaching team! Tait will be stepping into Coach Cass’ management role as she begins an exciting new chapter. Thank you Cass for everything you’ve brought to our Dolphins family and wish you the very best!
Tait has been coaching for 8 years and absolutely loves sharing the joy of swimming. He’s had the opportunity to coach swimmers of all ages/abilities —from those starting their journey to provincial medalists and Canadian Trials qualifiers.
When Tait is not on deck, you will find him rock climbing, skiing, doing triathlons, cooking, hanging out with friends or playing video games.
A few FUN FACTS:
Favourite colours: Purple & Green 💜💚
Feel-good song: All Night Long — Lionel Richie🎵
Favourite food: Burgers🍔
Cool fact: Last year, Tait and his best friend skied Delirium Dive at Sunshine and completed every ski run at Lake Louise!🎿
We’re thrilled to have you joining the Dolphins family, Tait. We can’t wait to see all the great things ahead! 🩵🩷

There were 24 clubs, across Canada here (MB/SK/ON/AB/BC). Some could say, unofficially, this is kinda like a little nationals meet... 😉
All together there were 420 athletes (249 females / 171 males). Elk Valley Dolphin’s finish the meet with an all time high of 1726.5 pts, landing us as a club in 5th place. Not bad for the littlest club in B.C. (Once upon a time)
