Found some time to take Cathy out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and opening our store this past week. It's been busy. And so worth it 😊

For those of you who haven't seen much of me, I have been very busy helping my wife get our new costume sales and rental store opened!!
We opened our doors yesterday. Grand Opening is Saturday, August 7th in Elora, On!!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Getting out and playing some golf would really benefit anyone who enjoys it. It is probably the easiest sport to physically distance. Please open the golf courses

What will work to fight COVID-19: Keeping people safely connected: Maintaining social connections and outdoor activity are important to our overall physical and mental health!

What won't work: taking anecdotal advice from your buddies who drink "pops" after golf.

Trust the science, the doctors and the organizations that provided a safe haven successfully all through 2020!

Have you ever heard of Charlie "Rocket" Jabaley? No? Me neither. Until yesterday while I was watching one of my favorite podcasts.
Charlie's story is both incredible and inspirational.
He went from nothing to managing a famous artist, then being signed by Nike, and now he gives gifts away to people who really need it. Kind of like Oprah. But, on a smaller scale.
Check out his YouTube channel and see his show "Winning Streak."
Like I said, truly inspiring. And he did all of this by "Believing" he could and of course by taking "Action."
Thoughts without action are just dreams

Your mind is the ultimate creative source. It's your most valuable asset. Used properly, it can help you become anything that you want to be.
Napoleon Hill wrote the timeless masterpiece, "Think and Grow Rich."
This book contains many great concepts and ideas on how to grow into a person of success. Whatever success may mean for you. Because success isn't always about financial success.

It's powerful.
People do the "impossible" all of the time.

Roger Bannister ran the first 4 minute mile.
NASA landed men on the moon.
The list could go on and on.

If you're struggling right now, focus on changing your self-talk.
It's a great place to begin. You control it.
Cut out the negativity. Start changing a bad habit into a good one.
And believe that it's possible.

Because it is

Life becomes a lot less stressful when we realize this concept.
It's our reactions to situations and the awareness of what causes us to feel a particular way about something, that ultimately creates our perception of life.

It's not cause and effect. It's "causing effect" that determines "how and what" your life looks like to you.
