Emergency Preparedness Training!

Our Nurture & Grow staff recently took part in training covering Lockdown, Hold & Secure, Sheltering in Place, and Fire Extinguisher procedures.

We’re committed to being prepared and ensuring our team has the knowledge and skills to respond confidently in an emergency.

⛽💙 FUEL GOOD DAY IS COMING TO ESTON! 💙⛽
We are so excited and incredibly grateful to be selected as the 2026 Fuel Good Day recipient in Eston! 🎉
On September 15th, 10¢ from every litre of fuel sold at the Central Plains Co-op Eston Store will be donated to Nurture & Grow Early Learning Centre!
And there’s more! 🌭☀️ The Nurture & Grow team will also be hosting a BBQ in the parking lot, with all proceeds going directly to the daycare.
🌱 Where will the funds go?
Every dollar raised will help us build an amazing outdoor playspace for our children, including:
⛱️ A shade gazebo – providing a comfortable shaded space for outdoor learning, play and relaxation.
🚲 A dedicated bike & scooter path – giving our children a space to ride, explore and develop their physical skills.
🛝 New playground equipment – including a swing and slide set to encourage active, imaginative play.

Today, we received our official licensing documents in the mail — and it feels like such an incredible milestone for Nurture & Grow Early Learning Centre! 💚

This moment represents countless hours of work, dedication, meetings, planning, paperwork, problem-solving, fundraising, and perseverance. It has been a journey, and we are so proud to see this dream become a reality.

A very special THANK YOU to our Board members who have poured their time, energy, knowledge, and passion into making Nurture & Grow possible. There have been many behind-the-scenes hours that most people will never see, but every one of them helped bring us to this day. 👏💚

We also want to recognize our amazing community from local businesses and organizations to families, volunteers, supporters, donors, and community members who encouraged us along the way — you believed in this project and helped us get here!

This centre truly is a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared vision. 🤝🌿

And now, we get to watch that vision grow as we provide children with a place to learn, play, explore, discover, and grow.🌱🧒👧
