We are excited to announce that Nurture Early Childhood Education Centre will be opening a new licensed group Infant/Toddler centre in the lovely community of Esquimalt this September 2024.

Nurture offers group childcare for children between 10 - 36 months of age. We operate exceptionally high quality programming with an outstanding team of vetted early childhood educators.

We are unable to respond to personal inquiries at this time so the waitlist is the best place to add your child's name. Please note we are only accepting applications at this time for children who are under 20 months of age. Thank you everyone!

Today is a solemn day of mourning and time for recognition of all of the children, families and communities who were harmed by the residential school systems. We are not only mourning the children whose lives were lost, but also the significant loss of language, culture and intergenerational trauma of so many Indigenous people in Canada.

We welcome families in joining their community and Nurture educators at one of the following events taking place within the city on Friday, September 30th:

10:00am to 12:30pm - Xe xe Smun’ eem’ also known as the Orange Shirt Day Ceremony will be held in Centennial Square

10:00am to 12:00am (midnight) - South Island Powwow to be held at Royal Athletic Park

Good morning everyone! Nurture will be closed on Thursday, January 6th in conjunction with SD61 and SD63. Stay safe out there!

Nurture has a rare vacancy for one child in our Infant Toddler program beginning on May 15th. This full time spot is for a child aged 15-20 months old and is reserved for a family accessing the Affordable Childcare Benefit, with further priority given to single parents seeking childcare to return to work or school.
