Dandelion flowers have come and gone but for a few stragglers hanging on. But, I will enjoy Dandelion flower treats and medicine all year long until next year's bloom.
Dandelion flower oil (double/triple oleate), o flower syrup, Dandelion flower ice cubes (just cuz they are pretty and could be brewed up for a tea). This year I experimented with Dandelion flower lemon aid! A strong infusion of dd flower's steeped overnight, strained, a little honey and a tsp of dd flower syrup, chilled well and a couple of dd flower ice cubes.
In February, when it's blowing and snowing and -20, I can slather on some dd flower oil and be transported back to a sunny day in May with the bees buzzing all around
