Where have I been?
For the past six weeks I've been a little quieter here.
Not because I've stopped working...
Because I've been busy living the life I spent years creating.
It started with our family reunion, followed by a road trip across Eastern Canada, then time at our cottage, a few days at a friend's cottage, and somewhere in between there have been a few rounds of golf.
There has also been plenty of work.
☀Zoom calls from campgrounds.
☀Laptop sessions overlooking the lake.
☀Conversations with people exploring what's next in their careers.
And in the middle of it all, I had the privilege of attending our Toronto live event, reconnecting with an incredible community of people committed to leadership and personal growth. Last night our Chicago event was underway, with Phoenix coming up this weekend, Saturday.
A few years ago, I thought success meant fitting my life around my work.
Today, I work hard...
But my work fits around my life.
That's a very different feeling.
Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing a little more about what I've learned while travelling, working remotely, meeting amazing people, and why I believe more professionals are questioning what they want the next chapter of their careers to look like.
Sometimes success isn't about doing less.
It's about having more choice.
