๐ŸŽ‰ SYNCHRONIZED SKATING IS BECOMING AN OLYMPIC SPORT IN 2030! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ†

And guess what?! Elmvale Skating Club is getting our future Olympians started! โญ๏ธ

On Saturdays, our Star Skate 3+ and Rising Stars sessions will feature โ€œSkating for Synchroโ€ โ€” an exciting introduction to the basics of synchronized skating where ALL of our Star skaters will get to participate! ๐Ÿ’™
Theyโ€™ll learn how skaters work together, move as a team, and experience the incredible teamwork and precision that makes synchro so special. โœจ

Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! โ˜€๏ธ

Just a friendly reminder that skating starts in only 18 days! โ›ธ๏ธ

Now is a great time to pull those skates out of the closet and have your skater try them on to make sure they still fit from last season. Kids grow fast, and it's always better to find out now than on the first day back on the ice!

If you need new skates, don't forget that The Skaters Loft on Queen Street in Elmvale carries figure skates and can help get your skater properly fitted.
(Be sure to give them a follow and show them some local support!)

We can't wait to see all of our returning and new skaters back at the rink in just over two weeks.

New to ice skating? We would love to welcome you to the ice!
Our ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ค๐š๐ญ๐ž an ๐‚๐š๐ง๐’๐ค๐š๐ญ๐ž programs are the perfect place for beginners of all ages to build confidence and develop lifelong skating skills in a fun supportive environment.

โญ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐’๐ค๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ ๐”๐ฉ๐๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ:
โ€ข StarSkate 1-3 has been renamed ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ and will now include skaters working on CanSkate 6, Star 1, and Star 2.
โ€ข StarSkate 4+ will now become Star 3+ to better balance our StarSkate sessions as our younger groups continue to grow.

โ›ธ๏ธ ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฌ
โ€ข We've added a Saturday morning Star 3+ session!
๐Ÿฅ‡ ๐๐„๐–! Synchronized Skating! As synchronized skating continues to grow (and heads to the Olympic stage!), Skate Canada has introduced it into the StarSkate Excellence Program. This exciting new component will be included in our Saturday Rising Stars and Star 3+ sessions at nอŸoอŸ aอŸdอŸdอŸiอŸtอŸiอŸoอŸnอŸaอŸlอŸ cอŸoอŸsอŸtอŸ.

๐Ÿ’ Additional Hockey CanSkate Session ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐…๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ, we're adding an extra 10 minutes of Monday ice time to help meet the increased demand as hockey season begins.

Happy Summer, Elmvale Skating Club! ๐ŸŒž

As we gear up for our upcoming season, we are looking for volunteers!

We are currently looking for a volunteer or two to play music during our star skate sessions.
Monday @ 3:50 - 4:50 pm
Thursday @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 7:45 am - 10:35 am
(please note, these times are subject to change.)

Elmvale District High students looking for volunteer hours, please reach out to our club.

You do not need to commit to every day listed above. Just please let me know which day works for you.
Our season starts at the end of August. ๐Ÿ˜
We are a volunteer run club, and many hands make light work. Anyone willing to help with this task is much appreciated! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hey Skaters!
A wonderful workshop is being hosted in Springwater for teen girls!
The Leadership coach for this program is a former competitive skater and skating coach.
She has created a one day retreat for teen girls called ROOTED & RISING.

Rooted & Rising is designed to help teen girls build confidence, resilience, self-expression, and practical tools they can carry with them both on and off the ice.
