On May 19th, our team hosted our annual Year-End Banquet! We were so happy to see so many amazing family members, sponsors, and 4917 supporters come out to celebrate this year's accomplishments with our team! We had a great time reflecting on the year, presenting awards, and sending off our grads over dinner and dessert. 🎉
Congratulations to the our student award recipients; Abby, Kai, Staz, Ryan, Caleigh, Caleb, Evan, Seth, Kiera and Cole, as well as our mentor award winners; Dominick F., John F., and Wade S. 🏆

A few weekends ago we attended provincials in Niagara! 🏞️

We were in the technology division! We placed 32nd in our divison and won the Judge's Award!

Our team visited the falls together on Friday, where everyone had a blast.

We would like to thank our supporters and sponsors who have been a tremendous help this season! We want to shout out Wallenstein Feed & Supply for their support this past season, we couldn't have done it without them!

Last week, 4917 went to the regional competition at the University of Waterloo! We placed 13th overall, and were the second pick of the 6th alliance!🤖

We would like to thank our alliance captain, for picking us, and 9263 for playing alongside us! It was amazing being on alliance with you both, and we hope to see you later in the season!

Thank you to family, sponsors, mentors, and other supporters who were cheering us on during the competition, whether that be in-person or online, your support means the world to our team!♥️

This weekend 4917 went to the regional competition at McMaster university!

We faced many challenges with our robot this competition, but despite that, our team won the Imagery Award, and was the captain of the 6th alliance!🎉

We would like to thank our amazing alliance partners and , and we are incredibly honoured to have been on an alliance with them! 💚❤️💙

Week 9 is officially over! 🥳🎉

This week we...
-Tuned the coding of many mechanisms
-Finished the last iterations of the robot
-Fixed the main functions of the robot
-Continued to assemble the hopper
-Tested, tested, tested!

Though March Break is starting, 4917 is not slowing down!

This past Saturday, 4917 hosted their annual Pankecake Breakfast! We had a blast showing everyone what we've been working on! 🥞🛠

Thank you to P&H Milling and St Jacobs Optimist Club for sponsoring and helping run this event!

The event was very sucessful with over 200 attendees. Thank you to everyone who visted, we hope you had as much fun as we did, and got to eat some great food! 😋
