Just a little look at what Preschool has been up to this week...

Busy hands, big ideas, lots of creating, exploring and figuring things out together.

This is what learning through play looks like.

Meet The Staff Monday — Meet Mai!

Mai may be one of the newer members of the CDCC team, but she is already focused on something at the heart of great childcare: building relationships children and families can trust. 🤎

She enjoys spending time outdoors with the children and believes the energy we bring into a space can have a real impact on the children around us. For Mai, building rapport means becoming someone children know they can turn to for support and help.

We’re happy to have Mai growing with our team!

Learning through play — from every angle! 🎨✨

From colourful sensory exploration, to drawing underneath the table, to hands-on finger painting, our children were busy creating, experimenting and making discoveries in their own way.

Open-ended experiences like these support creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, sensory exploration and confidence — all through play. 💛🌱

Meet The Staff Monday — Meet Miss Celene!

Celene brings so much care, patience, and fun to her work with the children at CDCC. Whether it’s art, sensory play, a dance party, or simply taking the time to build meaningful relationships, she helps create a space where children feel safe, loved, and supported as they learn and grow. 🤎

We’re so happy to have Celene as part of the CDCC team!

Daycare educators: be honest, would you get messy like THIS?

Our school-agers said "so long!" to full-day summer programming with an EPIC slime fight for the history books 🫟🤯 Followed by a slime-slip-n-slide!

Spending time outside and taking in what our world has to offer is so important. Being in nature gives children sensory stimulation without the need for a screen. It gives them freedom. To be loud. To explore. To climb, run, jump. They can learn to respect all kinds of creatures, from little insects to skittering creatures, to big beasts. Spend some time outside and we promise, the kids will be alright!
