Just a reminder for the current or soon-to-be college students of Yellowhead County that the cut off for applying for the Carl Tews Memorial Scholarship is September 1st. Make sure to get your applications in if you qualify!

🏈 Football Season is on the Horizon 🏈

Football tryouts will be taking place starting Tuesday, August 25th and Thursday, August 27th, 2026 from 6PM - 8PM at the Parkland Football Field. Regular practices will start the following week, running from August 31st - September 3rd, from 6PM - 8PM each day. No experience necessary - open to all Pacers in grades 9-12!

In addition, we are looking for a few more coaches to round out our coaching staff. Our head coach Preston will be running a "Coach the Coaches Camp" next Wednesday, August 19th and Thursday, August 20th from 6PM - 8PM each day. Interested? Send an email to [email protected] for more information.

We are looking for volunteers to help sort at this years Cram the Cruiser on Sept 19th. If you and some friends are interested in joining us we will be sorting at the firehall from 10-630pm. We would love to see some schools/students/teachers/parents etc get involved! Please send us a message if you can help. Times are 10am-1230pm; 1230-330pm; 330-630pm; and delivery after sorting.

We are looking for volunteers (youth, past volunteers, teachers and friends!) to help us sort food donations going to the Edson Schools and Edson Food Bank Society. Please send us a message to sign up - 3 hr shifts between 10:30am -6:30pm
