I also want to share something personal with all of you.

Yesterday, I was trying to apply for a certification I need in order to work here in Florida. Unfortunately, I can’t get it yet because I need to already be working. I also haven’t been able to find a job, and my Canadian credentials do not fully transfer here. I’ve already completed many certifications, but I still need more.

Honestly, I was starting to feel like giving up. Somehow, during that breaking point and through tears, I decided to take a little break and go through some of the unpacked boxes from our move. While doing that, I found this picture along with references from the families in my dayhome. It felt like a small sign of hope in the middle of all my frustration. 💛

The work we do helps shape children’s futures. Be proud of the work you do, and do not be afraid to show it. You deserve to be seen, valued, and respected.

Well, I guess I just had an Educator moment. ☺️❤️

🎨 Puffy Paint Earth for Earth Day 🌍
Have a go at this! A fun texture to paint with that dries puffy!! 🤩

How do you make it?
Mix equal parts PVA glue and shaving foam, then add a little paint or food colouring until you get your desired colour. Stir gently to keep it fluffy and use straight away for that soft, puffy texture.

Leave to dry for a day or two and enjoy your puffy artwork!
