Today the Spanish Kindergarten and grade 3C made shape turkeys with their buddy whom they got to meet with today.
They had to work together to cut out shapes, pick colours and glue items together. The Kindergarten students needed to practice their fine motor skills but also ask for help from their buddy when needed.
The grade 3’s were tasked with assisting the little ones with their writing and any needs they had.
We are so thankful for our grade 3C buddies! St Teresa School ECSD

Hoy el jardín de infantes español y el grado 3C hicieron pavos de forma con su amigo con el que se reunieron hoy.

Tenían que trabajar juntos para cortar formas, elegir colores y pegar artículos juntos. Los estudiantes de jardín de infantes necesitaban practicar sus habilidades motoras finas, pero también pedir ayuda a su compañero cuando fuera necesario.

Los de tercer grado tenían la tarea de ayudar a los más pequeños con su escritura y cualquier necesidad que tuvieran.

¡Estamos muy agradecidos por nuestros amigos de grado 3C!

We will be integrating our Land Acknowledgement into our morning broadcast and school celebrations.

There was so much to celebrate to acknowledge our teachers for at St Teresa School ECSD today! We kicked off the day with an apple nacho bar, followed it up with a prize punch out board and finished the day with Joy Wagon deliveries with a special gift. Thank you to our extraordinary and dedicated educators- our Tigres are blessed!

On the eve of World Teachers’ Day, we want to take a moment to pause and reflect because there is something really special about the people who choose to teach.

Every day, our teachers show up with patience, humour, creativity, faith, and so much love for our kids. They make our Tigres feel known, valued, and believed in.

The lessons matter. But how you make a child feel is what they’ll remember.

That’s the magic of a great teacher — and we have so many of them here.

En la víspera del Día Mundial del Maestro, queremos tomarnos un momento para hacer una pausa y reflexionar porque hay algo realmente especial en las personas que eligen enseñar.

Todos los días, nuestros profesores aparecen con paciencia, humor, creatividad, fe y mucho amor por nuestros hijos. Hacen que nuestros Tigres se sientan conocidos, valorados y creídos.

Las lecciones importan. Pero cómo haces sentir a un niño es lo que recordará.

Our school community is excited to be celebrating the beginning of Hispanic Canadian heritage month! Our teachers have been sharing their passion for our bilingual program with so many fun activities planned!
