This professional development workshop focuses on the importance of inclusive learning and the creation of neurodivergent-affirming classrooms. It emphasizes practical learning strategies and evidence-based teaching practices designed to equip pre-service teachers with the skills and confidence needed for diverse future classrooms.

The session will be led by guest speaker Billie-Jo Scott, a teacher and trained psychologist who currently serves as an Inclusive Education Support Specialist. Drawing on her professional experience working with an Autism Support Team, Billie-Jo Scott will share insights and strategies that support inclusive, responsive, and affirming educational environments.
