SAVE THIS: 7 SCHOOL-MORNING HACKS ⏰🎒

Because mornings don’t have to feel like a full-contact sport. 😅

Try these little tricks to make school mornings just a tiny bit easier:

1. 🧺 The “Tomorrow Basket”
Keep one basket by the door. Backpacks, library books, permission forms, shoes…anything that needs to leave the house tomorrow goes IN.

2. 👕 Pick clothes the night before
Give kids two choices. Less negotiating = more sleeping. 🙌

3. 🎒 Pack the backpack before bedtime
Homework, water bottle, lunch bag, gym clothes… future-you will be VERY grateful.

4. 🍎 Have 3 “default breakfasts”
Choose a few breakfasts everyone likes and keep the ingredients stocked. No 7:42 a.m. negotiations required.

5. 📝 Create a “DON’T FORGET” spot
Put permission forms, special-event items and anything unusual somewhere impossible to miss, like beside the keys.

6. ⏰ Set a “shoes on” alarm
Not a wake-up alarm. A WE ARE LEAVING SOON alarm. 😂
It gives everyone a clear finish line.

7. ❤️ Lower the bar on hard mornings
Some mornings, getting everyone dressed, fed and to school is the win.
It doesn’t have to be Pinterest-perfect.

💚 Another Saturday Spotlight! 💚

It takes a village to build a thriving community, and we are incredibly lucky to have some of the best people in ours. Today, we are shining a bright light on someone who constantly goes above and beyond: Brittany! 🌟

Between helping out at hot lunches, coordinating fundraising details, or making sure that information gets out to our families, Brittany brings so much dedication to our parent groups. She is a true pillar of our school community, and we couldn’t do this without her!

We asked Brittany to share a little bit about her experience volunteering with us:
🌱 What inspired you to start volunteering with the association?
“I wanted to be a part of a group that was making a difference for the school community. When I saw how welcoming and friendly everyone was, it gave me the drive to continue to show up and be involved.”
🌱 What’s been your favourite part of this year’s events?
“The glow dances are my favourite. Seeing the fruits of our labour finally all come together and bring so much joy to the school community is such a great feeling.”
