Camp team update!! These brave (but likely very exhausted) souls are onto their sixth straight week of camp!
Last week (and pictured above) the teams were at camps Salem Acres Bible Camp and Rehoboth Christian Ministries!
This week they are Bethel Bible Camp for CAYA (Come As You Are) Camp and Agricola Day Camp (which means getting to sleep in their own beds at night!)
Keep these teams in your prayers as they enter their last few weeks of camp. And keep praying for the campers they have encountered as well as the ones they will meet these upcoming weeks!

Can you believe it’s almost August? That means a couple things…
#1: it’s not too late to apply! September is quickly approaching and maybe you’re still on the fence about what next year will look like. We want you to know that it’s not too late to take a year to learn about God, grow your faith and find community!
#2: it’s not too late but… late fees are applying soon! So finish that application! Save yourself some $$ and the headache of procrastination! (Yes… we know you like to procrastinate, but believe us, you’ll thank yourself later🙂)
See you in September. But apply before August!!
(A late fee is applied to applications not finished by August 1)

A couple groups pics from our teams last week.
Now our teams are into week four of camp! 🌞
This week Hanna’s team is up north at Eagles Nest Ministry Centre and Abi’s team is back near Edmonton at Ross Haven Bible Camp!
Please pray for safe travels, good health and continued energy as they care for another group of camp kids this week!

“One big takeaway is that my relationship with God actually has to be personal, not just something I say I believe. I’ve learned that I can’t just rely on other people’s faith, I have to choose it for myself.”

After a great first week, our camp teams are already at it again! This week our team is split into three- a group at Bethel Bible Camp for Jr. High camp, another group at Pioneer Bible Camp, and the last group at Whispering Pines Bible Camp (along with two of our alumni! Thanks Quinn and Luke!)
Keep them in your prayers as they get to know a whole new group of campers and work alongside other staff!

“I have grown and changed into someone so different than who I was before. I’ve grown in my discipline, knowledge of the Bible, and in how I understand service. However, I think most of all, I have grown in my dependence on God. I need God like I need the air I breathe.”

ICYMI! Last week we announced our new staff member for the 2026-27 school year!
We are excited to welcome Senyun Li to our staff team! With increased student enrollment and a commitment to maintaining the relational nature of our program through a low staff-to-student ratio, we have added a temporary staffing role that Senyun will be stepping into this fall. In this role, she will provide administrative and promotional support while also contributing to many of the discipleship-focused aspects of the program. We are grateful for the perspective and experience Senyun brings as she joins our staff team in leading trips, Growth Groups, group Impact placements, chapels, one-on-one Connect meetings, and Immersive classes.
Senyun recently completed her Master’s in Christian Studies at the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary and is passionate about discipling the next generation. Senyun grew up attending and serving at Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church in Calgary, but has recently moved to Edmonton where she has been mentoring youth and young adults at Evangel Baptist Church for the past year.
Please pray for Senyun as she prepares for the transition of joining us this fall!

“Jesus didn’t just sit around and send money to the poor, he went and sat among the hungry, worked with the sick, and ate with the sinners. He wrapped a towel around his waist, knelt down, and washed his disciples feet. Mount Carmel has taught me to follow his example!”
