🏒⚾🏀 Team Spirit Day is coming to Westbrook Elementary on Tuesday, May 26! Wear your favourite team gear, show your school spirit, and bring your appetite for some tasty treats at lunch recess! 🌟

All proceeds from the PAWS fundraiser help support amazing opportunities for our students like ski trips, Chromebooks, artist residencies, gym equipment, and bussing. Let’s fill the school with team pride and Westbrook spirit! 🧡🩵

Our lost and found tables are filling up! 👕🧢🧤 If your child is missing any items, please take a look through the tables at the school. We would love to reunite these belongings with their owners before they are donated!

Freezie Fridays are back!! ☀️🍧

Pre-order your student’s freezie by sending $2.00 to school before Thursday each week. Students will give their money directly to their teacher.

We have been very lucky to have Mr. Keenan visiting Westbrook Elementary and sharing his teachings through Indigenous knowledge. Each group of students has had the opportunity to learn something unique, and we are so grateful for the time, wisdom, and experiences he has shared with us. Thank you for helping our students learn in such meaningful ways.

Westbrook Elementary, are you ready to make a massive impact? We are launching our Great Macaroni Domino Challenge! From May 6–20 we are collecting boxes of Mac & Cheese to support our local food bank. Before they head out the door, we’re creating one giant cheesy domino run!

Every box you bring adds one more domino to the chain and helps provide a meal for someone in need. Our goal is to make a trail from the library to the gym and back!

Drop off your boxes in the grey bins under the bulletin board by the courtyard and let’s get tumbling!

Grade 1 went to the forest today to learn from the land 🌿 Once we were in the forest, we found a quiet spot to spend 5 minutes observing and listening to the land. We learned about Frog Moon (Ayîki-pîsim) and took time to thank the land for all the teachings it shared with us today 💚

Before spring break, our Grade 4–6 students hit the slopes for an unforgettable ski trip! A great day of learning new skills, building confidence, and making memories together ⛷️❄️
