We appreciate that this is a difficult time for parents as well. Leaving your children with someone else can be stressful, but please know that wherever you choose to enroll them, their teachers are there because they love what they do and care deeply for every student. Your children are a very important part of their lives.⭐️❤️😃💕

Make up a goodbye ritual with your child!👋🏼This can be as easy as a tight hug, high five, fist bump or a special saying like “See you later, alligator! In a while, crocodile!” or a simple “I love you”. It can be one of these, one you make up together or even a combination. Just be sure to tell your child that you will be back to pick them up. Additionally, it is best to make your goodbyes short and sweet as lingering may make it harder for them to leave you. 🤗🤜🏽🐊❤️😃⭐️

Talk to your children about how they are feeling about going to school!💗Let them know that even the sad and scared feelings are okay. Hopefully those books and stories about school that you have been sharing with them have already helped with the anxiety. In addition to this, reassure your child that you will be there to pick them up every day and that their teacher is always there to talk to them when they are missing you. Lastly, giving your child a little piece of you may be helpful. They can wear one of Mom’s hair ties on their wrist, or put Dad’s keychain in their pocket. Be sure to let the teacher know about this little keepsake!⭐️❤️😃

Most schools will have already given you the opportunity to bring your child in. If not, hopefully your school has awesome social media pages (like ours 😃) where you can scroll through pictures to get your child familiar with the school and what they will be doing day to day.⭐️❤️😃

We hope all parents read to their children daily.📚Reading books about school or heading back to school is a wonderful way to help them feel more comfortable with this new experience. Sharing personal stories about your own school days is also a great bonus!⭐️❤️😃
