Time to start promoting this event!
Attention gamers!
On November 1st at 8pm, Concordia Concert Choir with the Resound Choir, and Soloists will be performing Trent Worthington’s arrangements of Kevin Sherwood’s “Easter eggs” from the game “Call of Duty”.
These death metal pieces have been completely transformed as choral pieces, some accompanied on piano and percussion, some a ca****la.
And, oh yes, there will be zombies.
This concert was first put on at Concordia in 2015 and it was a huge success. So, if zombies, Call of Duty, and choral music (or even any one of the three) are you thing, save the date!
More details about tickets to come.

The second of two songs recorded as part of China's Center for Language Education and Cooperation by Concordia's Concert Choir for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games. In this one, we one of only five choirs that participated! We are very proud of our student's dedication and spirit for this project! Special acknowledgement to our wonderful soloists! (And yes, that is Concert Choir's conductor, Dr. John Brough, showing us his curling skills! We are a multi-talented faculty!)

The final recording of our Virtual Choir project with UVic and Kings - and the inspiration behind the project. (We were to be performing the entire Beethoven Ninth Symphony for our 100th anniversary this year, but the pandemic had other plans). Here is a small segment of the Symphony, Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". A suitable tribute as we wish Dr. Joy Berg a happy retirement.
