But are we growing as artists, or simply getting better at following someone else’s instructions?

We spend so much time looking back at what we couldn’t do that we forget to imagine what we COULD become.

Investing in yourself today is a gift to the artist you could become tomorrow.

So here’s my question:

I’ve been pretty quiet these days on social media. Lots of family time, and looking after my health. 💪❤️🐻 I was given this commission a few months ago. A 100 year old tree a church loved and cherished had completed its cycle and needed to be cut down. They kept a portion of it, and had it sliced into 3 pieces. This is part 1 of 3 wood-burning I’ve done so far. Love that I am invited on this community’s creative journey in preserving its memory 💕❤️🦅🪶🐻
