Happy National Service Dog Month! 🐾. Meet Etta❤️ our amazing service/facility dog. She brings comfort, joy, and plenty of tail wags wherever she goes. We are so fortunate to have her working, learning (and napping) along side us😊

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize and reflect on the histories, cultures, experiences, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

It starts with curiosity, listening, and taking time to understand stories and perspectives that may be different from our own.

This month we learned about Treaties and began writing our own personal Land Acknowledgments.

Students reflected on the following questions:

Where are you from?
What brought you to Treaty 6 Land?
How do you spend time on the Land?
How will you protect and care for the Land?

It starts with learning. 🧡
