๐Ÿšจ EDMONTON SAFETY ALERT: CAR STOLEN AT GUNPOINT โ€” THEN ALLEGEDLY STOLEN AGAIN ๐Ÿšจ

An Edmonton man says what started as a Facebook Marketplace meetup turned into a terrifying armed carjacking near James Mowatt Trail on Monday.

According to the victim, three masked suspects approached him during the meetup, one allegedly pointed a pistol at him, and the group drove away in his 2006 Toyota Highlander.

But the story gets even more disturbing.

The man says his vehicle was located parked nearby the following morning. He says police told him not to touch the vehicle while officers arranged to recover it.

Then, according to him, the suspects RETURNED โ€” and allegedly stole the vehicle AGAIN.

The Highlander remains missing, he says.

Because he only carries liability insurance, he says the loss of his vehicle has also left him unable to work.
