We are getting close Raiders!! Make sure you are checking Schoolzone for updates. Parents are able to add September Arc Card fee to Schoolzone to pay and pick up in the office on Friday. Parents can also add Chromebook rental fees on Schoolzone. All other fees will be added later this week.

Congratulations to student-athlete Sanuka Herath and his achievements at the 2026 Canadian National Table Tennis Championships, recently held in Winnipeg.

At just 15 years old, Sanuka became the Canadian Junior National Champion in the Boys’ Under-19 event, competing against players several years older than him. He also played an important role in helping Team Alberta win the gold medal in the Under-19 Boys’ Team event.

Another major highlight was Sanuka reaching the quarterfinals of the Men’s Open event. On his way to the quarterfinals, he defeated an Olympian who represented Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Reaching this stage of the senior national competition at his age is a significant achievement and an important milestone in his journey toward representing Canada internationally.
Sanuka has qualified for next year’s Pan American Games, and hopes to travel to Los Angeles to represent Canada at the next Summer Olympic Games in 2028.

Congratulations to Vimy Ridge Academy and donnandotca alumni, Keaton Verhoeff, who was selected in the first round and 9th overall by the San Jose Sharks We are all ! 🦈

And with the final out of the Annual Summer Classic, we bring a close to the 2025-2026 school year! Team White played a fantastic game and dominated the play, winning 8-0!! We wish all our Vimy families a fantastic summer and can’t wait to see all the smiling faces when we start up next year! Check Schoolzone for updates.

Monday, June 22 is our annual Awards Ceremonies. Grades 7 - 8 students and families will celebrate starting at 9:00am. Grades 9 - 11 students will celebrate starting at 1:00pm. Awards Ceremonies will take place in the Main Gym. Students are asked to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony and will be organized backstage in OHall. All guests can find a seat in the Main Gym. Students and Families should have received an invitation earlier in the week.

Reminder to all students that their lockers need to be cleaned out by Friday. Lost and Found items will be donated after Friday, June 19th.
