Macey’s has been hitting the live circuit hard, bringing her original music to venues and festivals across Alberta. This weekend alone she has two shows back to back! 📢 Exciting news! We’re proud to share that Pixel Blue College is continuing as an official 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 (ATC)! Pixel Blue is one of only two ATCs in all of Canada and the only one in Western Canada!

This prestigious designation reflects our commitment to delivering industry-leading education in 2D Animation, using the world’s top animation software — Harmony and Storyboard Pro. 🏆

As an ATC, our students train with the latest techniques and best practices used in television, film, gaming, and advertising. Every 2D Animation & Illustration student will also complete the Toon Boom certification exam as part of their program — a valuable credential that studios recognize (and sometimes require!) when hiring.

From concept development to client presentation, the two explored the program's name, tagline, visual identity, campaign materials, and how the brand could carry across donor communications and their website. Responding to client briefs, explaining the thinking behind their design decisions, and presenting their work professionally is exactly the kind of industry experience our students are ready for upon graduating. 🙌

From the principles of animation to hands on character rigging, every class is a step closer to a career doing what you love. 🙌
