March 2022 Election Results!
Hi everyone!
Thank you to all our candidates who participated in our March 2022 election. We appreciate your interest in making a difference for all nursing students! With that being said, meet our new NUA Council, CNSA Representatives, and GFC and SU Representatives! Congratulations to our newly elected members!
Our October 2022 by-election will be used to fill the roles of:
1st Year Collaborative Representative
1st Year After-Degree Representative
4th-year Collaborative Co-Representative
Bilingual Representative

GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE:
Because we extended the nomination package deadline to tomorrow March 13th, 3:00 pm, we'll also be extending the candidate bio and picture submission deadline to March 13th, 10:00 pm.

Nomination Package Deadline for NUA Positions is extended to TOMORROW MARCH 13 AT 3PM. Please submit all nomination packages to [email protected]
Whether you're able to attend our candidate meeting today from 6-7pm (link will be provided to all candidates who submit their nomination packages today before meeting), we'll send you an election rules summary document by tomorrow.
To recap, In our upcoming election, the following positions are yet to be contested:
- VP Student Life
- VP External
- VP Finance
- VP Admin
- 4th Year rep (2 positions)
- 2nd Year after degree rep (2 positions)
- CNSA Associate Delegate (2 positions)

The Caring Communities Initiative invites members of the U of A community to connect, care and share. Connection starts with conversation, and what better way to connect than over a virtual cup of tea or coffee? We invite nursing students to join us for virtual discussions on topics important to you. Facilitated by fellow nursing students and alumni, these sessions offer an opportunity to gather together to make connections, support one another, and take a break from the pressures of nursing student life.
