Ever wonder why you suddenly can’t sleep the way you used to?

For many women in perimenopause, sleep disruption isn’t just about stress or getting older. It’s often connected to changes happening beneath the surface.

As estrogen and progesterone begin to fluctuate, they can influence everything from body temperature regulation to melatonin production, cortisol patterns, and the way we move through our normal sleep cycles.

This is where sleep architecture comes in.

Sleep isn’t one long state of rest. Throughout the night, your body moves through different stages of sleep, each with a specific purpose. Some stages help with physical recovery, while others support memory, mood, and cognitive function.

When hormones begin to shift, those sleep stages can become disrupted. You may find yourself waking more often, struggling to fall back asleep, feeling tired despite spending enough hours in bed, or simply feeling like your sleep isn’t as restorative as it once was.

In this clip from Week 1 of Meet Yourself Again in Midlife, Aabha Gupta explains the science behind these changes and why understanding what’s happening in your body can be the first step toward supporting it.

The first workshop has now been recorded and is available to new participants.

And the good news? It’s not too late to join us.

Over the next three weeks, we’ll continue exploring the changes that happen during midlife and practical ways to support your body through them.

✨ If you’ve been feeling like your body is changing but you’re not quite sure why, we’d love to have you join us.

Okay, be honest…

How many squares did you check? 😅

The thing that keeps coming up in conversations with women is that so many of these symptoms get treated like completely separate problems.

Poor sleep.

Brain fog.

Anxiety.

Cravings.

Mood changes.

Feeling like you’ve somehow become a different version of yourself.

So we Google them one at a time and end up with 37 browser tabs open and absolutely no answers.

At some point, many women realize they’re not dealing with a collection of random symptoms at all. They’re trying to understand a bigger picture.

Which square on this bingo card made you feel personally attacked? 😂

P.S. We’re opening the first session of our new midlife education series to everyone free tomorrow evening. If you’d like to learn more, you can find the details here:

Midlife doesn’t mean becoming someone new.

It means trying to find your way back to someone you recognize.
The version of you who had steady energy.

Clear thoughts.

Emotional calm.
And lately… it feels just out of reach.

This is exactly the work Aabha Gupta C.H.N.C. does.
After going through her own experience of exhaustion, anxiety, brain fog, and being told everything was “fine,” she rebuilt her health by understanding what was actually happening in her body — and now guides other women through that same process.
With over a decade of experience in nutrition, training in emotional and nervous system support, and a practice dedicated specifically to midlife women, her work brings together the pieces most women are never given in one place.

This 4-week guided experience is designed to help you reconnect with that version of yourself again — with the right support, in the right order.

Most women begin to notice shifts within the first two weeks.
We’re opening 10 spots for this first small group.

We begin June 4th 2026!

Sometimes the path you’re meant to walk doesn’t become clear until you finally decide to follow what’s been pulling at your heart all along. 🤍

You can eat well, make intentional choices, and still feel as though something isn’t quite aligning.

Not because you’re doing it wrong.
But because nutrition is rarely as simple as what’s on the plate.

What the body does with nutrients—how it absorbs, converts, and uses them—is where things become more complex… and more interesting.

This is the layer most people are never taught.

At Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Edmonton, we go beyond learning what to eat.

We focus on understanding how the body actually works with nutrients—and how to translate that into something practical, intuitive, and sustainable in everyday life.

Our next intake for the Natural Nutrition Diploma Program begins May 5th, 2026.
