🐣 Classes for 19 months - 5 years old
🧩 A positive building block in early education

There are three morning programs at Little Friends:

1.The Toddler Room – a relatively unique program in Edmonton, as it offers a morning program for children as young as 19 months, up to three years of age. This class has a maximum number of 9 children per day and runs Tuesday to Friday.
2.The Playroom – designed for three-year olds with age-appropriate activities and toys to stimulate them emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. This class has a maximum number of 16 children and operates Tuesday and Thursdays.
3.The Playschool – a fun program for four-year olds which focuses on preparing your child for Kindergarten. This class has a maximum number of 16 children and operates Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. The programs at Little Friends are of a high caliber and the first choice for many families throughout the Edmonton area. As a result, there is often a greater demand than there are spaces available. This is particularly the case with the registration for the Playroom and playschool (both limited at 16 children), as there are generally more than 16 registrants in the Toddler Room (limited to 9 any given morning). Consequently, not everyone in the Toddler Room is guaranteed a spot in the Playroom as they become of age.

A tour through Miss Ashleigh’s Playroom and Playschool room ✨ This space is for our three and four year olds. It’s full of open-ended play, sensory exploration, and fun alphanumeric education.

Meet our teachers 🍎

Hi! My name is Miss Kelly 👋🏼 I teach our 19 month to 3 year old Toddler Room program. I’ve been teaching at Little Friends Preschool for 12 years, and it has been such a privilege and joy to welcome little ones for their very first school experience. I’m always humbled and grateful for the trust families place in us, and I love watching each child explore, create, grow, and move forward in their learning with confidence. 💫

Some things about me…
💦 I don’t leave the house without my water bottle.
🪴 My hobbies include gardening, baking, and building community.
💭 I relax by organizing… I love creating calm, purposeful spaces.
🍫 My favourite food is chocolate.
🐿️ If I were an animal, I’d be a squirrel!

Meet our teachers 🍎

Hey! It’s me - Ms. Ashleigh! I have been teaching the 3 and 4 year old classrooms at Little Friends Preschool for 5 years. I’m so grateful that my mornings always start with big smiles and enthusiastic high fives from my Little Friends students. My classroom is an inclusive play space where learning is a fun and collaborative adventure. I am also completing my Bachelor of Early childhood Education because I love being an educator!

Some things about me…
🥤 I don’t leave the house without my giant water bottle
🛍️ My hobbies include thrifting, pilates, reading, and dancing
☕️ I relax by drinking a cup of tea
🍣 My favourite food is sushi
