Space available for Career and Organization Displays. A few left for Arts & Crafts.......Below is our Role Model and Facilitator.............Jessie Lachance🤩 and The Nehiyaw Glam & Personal Development Team..........Nehiyaw Glam & Personal Development was founded and created by Jesse Lachance & her teenage daughter Mariah in spring of 2019. Since then they have been travelling all over Saskatchewan and Alberta speaking at youth conferences, schools, doing makeup/hair for fashion shows, weddings, grads, special nights/days out. Previously worked for 2 years with another aboriginal owned company who put on 10-week classes on personal development and model/talent training. Jesse saw her daughters struggling with self-confidence, depression, anxiety, bullies, su***de thoughts/attempts, and realized she needed to keep them busy and show them how to work for their own desires, while also showing them they could combine the things they love with helping others. They are based out of Lloydminster but travel wherever they are needed. Jesse speaks about the hardships she endured growing up with an absent father, young mother (effected by Residential School), raised by grandparents, taking care of her siblings, turned to city street living, fallen into addictions, gang affiliations, finally jumping into single motherhood at a young age, starting road to recovery, going after her education and eventually entrepreneurship.
