We are looking for students who are available between 9 AM - 12 PM & 1 PM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday, within the next two weeks to volunteer.

🌟April Volunteer Spotlight: Kathleen Nicole Militante
Program: Business Administration – Marketing
Organizations Kath volunteers with (She is everywhere!): NAITSA Volunteers, NAIT International and Intercultural Community Centre (IICC), NAIT Recruitment & Events, NAIT Student Life, and Student Orientation.

Why do you volunteer?: “I volunteer to improve myself on how I socialize with people and how I talk in English, since it's not my first language. Also, I am a very shy and introverted individual and I don't really socialize with people before but when I started studying here in Canada, I told myself that I should change that, step out of my comfort zone and put myself out there.”

What have you learned through volunteering?: "I learned how to socialize with my fellow students and to work with different group of people. Because of volunteering, I get to get to be involved and participate in different school events which led me to find my current friends that I treasure so much"

Who inspires you?: "I am inspired by people who confident and proud of the things they are passionate about. As well as those people who still push through even after all the hardships in life, they still show up with kindness and smile on their face."
