This team! Proud beyond words.

Congratulations to our incredible teachers for successfully wrapping up another amazing school year! Your dedication, energy, and unwavering commitment to our students have been nothing short of inspiring.

To celebrate all of their hard work, we wrapped up the year with a fantastic field trip and enjoyed some delicious elephant ears—compliments of our wonderful CDW Parent Council and school community! We are so deeply grateful for your continuous support, partnership, and heart throughout the year.
Wishing everyone a restful, joyful, and very well-deserved summer break!

It's not uncommon to find messages scattered throughout our hallways. Students of CDW know the value of sharing a kind word, encouragement and spreading positivity!

Recognizing, Learning, and Walking Together
As a school community, observing National Indigenous Peoples Day is a vital part of our shared journey. It is a time for us to celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and incredible resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Why does this matter so deeply in our schools?
Honoring Truth: Embracing real history is the foundation of true reconciliation.
Enriching Education: Indigenous knowledge and perspectives offer invaluable lessons about community and connection to the land.
Fostering Belonging: Ensuring every student and staff member feels seen, respected, and valued.
Education is our most powerful tool for building empathy and respect. We encourage all families to join us in listening to Indigenous voices, learning, and growing together. 🧡

I was honored to have the CDW Heart Award named in my honor.
To be called the "heart" of CDW is the highest honor I could ever ask for. But the truth is, a heart cannot beat alone. This award belongs to our tireless staff, our supportive families, and the amazing students who inspire me every single day.
Being your principal has been the joy of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful recognition. We built this legacy together!
