The Scandinavian Heritage Society of Edmonton is looking for volunteers for this year's Heritage Day festival. You're eligible for a scholarship draw if you are a student who volunteers!

Heritage Festival Student Scholarship: Volunteers registered in a post-secondary school between January 1 and December 31 are eligible for random scholarship draws.

Scandinavian Heritage Society Scholarship: Volunteers registered in any Scandinavian studies course at the University of Alberta or Augustana between January 1 and December 31 are eligible for a random draw for two $250 scholarships. One entry per shift.

Know a student who could use financial support? The Red Deer Danish Canadian Club (RDDCC) is offering bursaries to help cover educational expenses! A bursary is a financial award that doesn't need to be repaid, designed to ease the financial burden on students and make education more accessible.

100% of the funds contributed to our annual scholarships come from these casinos. Volunteers get a free meal at the casino restaurant.
