As another preschool year comes to a close, we gathered to celebrate and honor the incredible journey of our director, Bonni, who has been the heart and soul of Ellerslie Road Preschool for over 30 years. Her dedication, passion, and unwavering support has touched the lives of countless children, families and staff, creating a nurturing environment where learning blossomed. Thank you, Bonni, for being our teacher, mentor, and guiding light. You will be deeply missed as you slide into retirement, but your legacy will forever remain in our hearts.

As we say goodbye to Bonni, we are thrilled to welcome Kayla as the new owner and director of Ellerslie Road Preschool! Kayla brings a wealth of experience and fresh ideas, and we are excited to continue the rich learning legacy that has been built over the years. We can’t wait to see how she will continue to inspire children and families in new and exciting ways!

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the closing of our Grace Point location, which has been a wonderful home for families for over 14 years. Thank you to everyone who made that space special. As we transition back to our roots at the Ellerslie location, we look forward to continuing our programming and fostering the same sense of community and love for learning that Bonni instilled in us all.

The lyrics “…..every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end” rings true.

We had a "bee-utiful" week at our Gracepoint location! 🐝

Our little learners became junior apiarists this week! We had a special visit from a local beekeeper who taught us all about the secret lives of honey bees. 🍯

The buzz-worthy highlights:

🧤 Exploring a real beekeeper’s suit.
🐝 Learning how bees work together as a team.
🍯 Discovering how honey goes from the hive to our table!

A huge thank you to Beekeeper Christa for helping us learn why bees are such important helpers for our planet.
