The agency provides all our day homes with slow cooker meal recipes and teaches them how to prep HEALTHY meals within 20 mins. We provide the programming for them to follow, this is child lead and structured format that includes:

Dance/movements/science/math/language arts/yoga and much more! The agency does all the marketing and admin work as well. We provide an on line app where you can sign in and sign out to see and communicate with your provider to see how your child's day is going! Eventually we will have a field trip bus with a paid assistant to help them around with the children for their day out (car seats will have to be provided by the parent). What all this allows, is the provider to focus on what is important - the children and their outing planned! IF the location is offering Evenings/Overnights, the same programming is offered by the head office for their evenings, in a different format, with homework time, evening snack, story time and bed time. (bath provided, if 24/7 care is past 2 full days - or as needed.) All homes are smoke free, and some may or may not have pets. Social Butterflies Agency provided all of our day homes with slow cooker recipes they must follow to ensure a healthy menu is being kept up. Our food menu is as healthy as it can get, we concentrate on low sugar, low sodium, low trans fat and NO processed meats, everything is made from scratch an ensured to be healthy snacks and meals. All meals and snacks are provided for your children, serving at least 4 hot lunches and 3 hot breakfast a week out of the week. The other 1 - 2 meals consists of Panini's, sandwiches or cereal for breakfast. 2 healthy snacks are provided daily and they always consist of fruit and veggies, we serve Milk at all meals and water for snack time. We don't believe in serving juice to the children as these are made up of too many sugars. All day homes must comply with the Child and Licensing Standards staying within the maximum number of children allowed in the home at one given time in compliance with Privately ran day homes. So you can understand better how our screening process works for our providers and the rules and regulations we set out for them, we have listed our initial screening process here for you to see. REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum level one or willing to obtain OUR equivalent
• Up to date Criminal Checks for all persons over the age of 18 in the house hold
• Up to date First Aid/CPR
• Food handling certificate or willing to obtain this
Drug test for anyone over the age of 18 in the household
• Experience with children of all ages
• References
• Pass the application and screening process
• Pass an initial interview with our director
• Pass an initial house inspection

RULES & REGULATIONS - For providers

• Maximum of one to two infants in your care at one given time, unless one baby is yours.
• A total of 6 children MAX in your care at one given time (not including your own)
• The rules is 6 children max, not including your own, however, some restrictions apply for safety reasons - this is reviewed case by case.
•When signing a contract with Social Butterflies you understand we are able to pop in for a inspection check at any given time while you are within your day home opened hours.
•Willing to take a surprise alcohol/drug test at any given time (within reason of the laws surrounding this process)
• Insurance secured through your own insurance company and we must be provided with proof and have a copy of the underwriting (also Social Butterflies must be named in the insurance police).
• If renting, a permission form filled out by the landlord or a copy of your lease stating a day home is allowed in and on the property.
• No competition rule of running a Private Agency must be signed and all clients provided to you are clients of Social Butterflies - if you should wish to go with another agency or on your own these clients do not carry forward with you.
• All agency fee's are set by the agency - if you are giving discount this comes from your portion of the fees charged (unless discussed prior)
• No handling of cash is to change hands of day home and parent - all payments are made traceable through Social Butterflies banking.
