Les Causeries Les Causeries: "The Introducing French Playschool Association" is a non-profit parent-run preschool Instructions, words, stories, etc.

Les "Causeries: The Introducing French Playschool Association" is a non-profit parent-run preschool for 3 and 4 year olds in Edmonton, AB Canada. Parent volunteers are not required for in-class duty days as we employ 2 qualified staff members for all classes. Our teachers offer a gradual introduction to French in a ‘learn through play environment’. The playschool is child-oriented and activities are adapted to the interests and needs of the child. Our main focus is to offer a specialized program exposing 3 and 4 year old children to the French language. In the preschool, children are under no pressure to speak French; the intention is to lay a firm foundation by hearing the language spoken and developing an ‘ear’ for it. will always be repeated in English as required so that the children always understand what is being said. We believe that children learn best through play experience, by learning to use a variety of materials and by exploring their environment.

We have been having so much fun watching the leaves change colour and fall around our park. Today we explored what we can make with those leaves and added glue and googly eyes. It was messy fun using our imaginations!

We had so much fun reading “The Dot” together as a class, and exploring many different ways we could create using dots!

Thats a wrap on our 2026 Kids Clothing Fundraiser. We want to thank everyone that shopped, donated and helped promote our event. The amount of donations and those already at the doors for 10am always amaze us. We also want to thank the parent volunteers, our fundraising coordinator and her amazing team sorting, setting up, running the event and clean up crew. 👏 Well done and see you all next year! 🖤Les Causeries Playschool
