UAGUS is a student run group that aims to enrich the university experience of geophysics undergraduates by providing academic and social opportunities.

UAGUS has been involved in the organization of the Western Inter-University Geosciences Conference, Geoskills Day, CSEG outreach nights, APEGA Networking events, as well as a trip to attend the 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 SEG annual meetings. All of these events provided students with the opportunity to learn more about their chosen field, as well as network with industry members and fellow students.

Rumor has it that some beautiful people will be selling delicious baked goods today from 9-2 in the business atrium. Proceeds go toward funding UAGUS talk series and events, so its pretty much like buying a cookie AND pizza for the price of a cookie. Genius! Go check it out!
