University of Alberta Concert Choir is not only a credited course at the U of A, but is also group of fantastic music loving young adults from all different faculties. We provide an opportunity for UAlberta students from all different backgrounds and faculties to explore their love of choral music at an intermediate level.The UACC fosters an inclusive environment for all students to share in their love of singing.

Do you like to sing? Have you sung in choirs before? Have you ever sung in the shower? Do you need to to fulfill your Arts credits or do you need to participate in an ensemble? Well we have a choir for you! Join the University of Alberta Concert Choir! You can take it for credit or not for credit.
Bear Tracks registration dates are coming up soon: if you’re taking it for credit make sure to register in MUSIC140A and MUSIC 140B if you’re new to the choir, or if you’re a returning chorister register in MUSIC440A and MUSIC440B! Auditions will be held in early September!

Introducing our Winter 2019 conductor, Dr. Adam Robertson!
Adam Robertson holds the degrees of Doctor of Music and Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Alberta as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Lethbridge. He is in demand throughout Alberta as both a choral and vocal clinician and adjudicator, and remains active as a choral singer as well as conductor. He has sung in numerous honour choirs both provincially and nationally, including the National Youth Choir in 2004. Previously, Adam has directed Lethbridge’s Cantare Girls Choir and Avanti Women’s Ensemble, Sherwood Park’s Festival Singers, and has served as the assistant director for Edmonton’s Da Camera Singers. Dr. Robertson is currently a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta, director of the University of Alberta Concert Choir, co- director of the Edmonton Children’s Choir, and has served as the Assistant Conductor for the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus since 2006.
