I love this Gemini Notebook update.
ASK for an infographic rather than needing to create from the Studio buttons.
I wanted to create a graphic of the school schedule and just by asking, it started to generate it.

Here's a look at what the new STUDENT home page looks like for Google Classroom.
It's pretty much the same as the teacher page, but with due dates and upcoming assignments that are related to the courses the student is taking.
The "class tools" section will list any Gemini Notebooks or Gems that have been assigned by the teacher.
The familiar class cards are still there, at the bottom of the page.

This is an amazing feature! Iβve been using it frequently!
π€―π± You can now view two websites side-by-side inside a SINGLE Chrome tab. No more dragging windows around or needing a second monitor. Just right-click and select "Add tab to new split view." Watch the magic happen here: https://youtu.be/RJ-H0eYZnZQ?si=qdLZYGHe1Ar6Rcrr&t=1347

What do you think of the new Google Classroom home page?
Give me a π or π in the comments.
I like the "class Insight" and "recently due" sections. Not as bit of a fan of the "feature spotlight." The good news is that if you don't like a section, you can collapse it down and hide it!
Your class cards are still visible at the bottom of the page.

Stop digging through endless folders! π π
If you arenβt using Workspaces in Google Drive yet, you are missing out. It allows you to group files from different locations into one "dashboard" without actually moving them.
I use workspaces when I make schools visits. Now my slides, handouts, and admin docs are all one click away. No more panic-searching five minutes before the presentation starts! π
π Do you use Workspaces, or do you stick to the "Starred" folder?

Cool!
The Chrome browser has a cool new tool bar that you can customize with shortcuts to useful features like creating a QR code, accessing your saved passwords, reading mode and more.
To configure it, click the "snowman" (three dots) in the top right corner of Chrome and look for "more tools" and then "customize chrome."

If your Google Sheet has a list of dates, you can instantly transform it into a monthly calendar view without manually rearranging your data. Choose the date column and a new calendar sheet is created automatically. You can also upgrade to sync those events with a Google Calendar when needed.
