📣 Brookview Community Preschool AGM – August 27

It’s hard to believe summer is flying by, and we’re already getting ready to welcome everyone back for another wonderful school year! 🍎💛

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is coming up on:

📅 Thursday, August 27
🕡 6:30 PM
📍 Brookview Community League Building (our preschool building)

We encourage at least one parent from each family to attend, if possible. Children and both parents are welcome to join us too!

The AGM is a great opportunity to:
✨ Meet our teachers (if you haven’t already!)
✨ Hear a welcome from our teaching team
✨ Learn more about the program and what to expect this year
✨ Ask any questions you may have
✨ Meet other Brookview families
✨ Hear a brief update from our Parent Board about the preschool and the year ahead

We are excited to celebrate the end of another wonderful school year with our preschool children and their families! It has been a joy watching them learn, grow, and thrive throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our students who will be heading off to kindergarten next year—we are so proud of you and wish you all the best on your next adventure!

We had a lot of fun observing caterpillars today! We spotted caterpillars outside on a tree AND had the incredible opportunity to watch our classroom caterpillars transform into their chrysalises.

Our little learners have been exploring the fascinating lifecycle of a caterpillar! 🐛🦋

Kiddos made a beautiful craft to represent each stage of the butterfly lifecycle - learning how caterpillars grow and change.

We also have live caterpillars in our classroom, and the excitement each day has been wonderful to see as the kids observe them up close with their magnifying glasses.

The kids have been learning about landforms at preschool this week! Using different materials to put together their pictures. It’s been wonderful seeing them do this activity and then recreate it in their own paintings.
