Explore the world beyond the scoreboard - the personalities, politics, culture, conflict and human stories that shape modern sport.

Taught by journalism faculty member Neill Fitzpatrick, this new Communication Studies course BCSC 399 gives students the opportunity to develop real-world reporting, interviewing, feature-writing and storytelling skills through the lends of sports media.

We're excited to announce our fourth annual Communications Bootcamp for underrepresented youth in grades 10-12 here in Edmonton August 13 to 15, 2026!

This program continues to empower young voices and provide hands-on media experience to students who might not otherwise have these opportunities.
