Time for the first Mint Cup event of the year - the Mint Cup Banner Competition! We’re excited to announce this year’s theme is 🎬🍿Movies & TV🍿🎬

Date: Tuesday, September 8th
Time: 4:00-5:00 pm
Location: PBL rooms (designated room for each team)

Some Important Details:

Designs should be finalized by Tuesday, September 15th at 5:00 pm - meaning you can still work on it for 1 week after the event on Tuesday, September 8th.

Then we’ll hear from YOU! We’ll post a google form to vote on your top 3 favourite posters and the winners will be announced on: Tuesday, September 22nd at 5:00 pm.

Prizes you say? Of course!

The team that comes in first place will not only gain 30 Mint Cup points, but one lucky participating team member will win a $150 Cineplex gift card, courtesy of Mint Health + Drugs!

Don’t worry, the team that comes in second place will gain 20 Mint Cup points, and third place will get 10 Mint Cup points.

REMINDER - All designs must be appropriate (no offensive imagery, foul language, reference to drug abuse, etc.)

Have you heard about the Course Materials Access program?

It’s a new program where undergraduate students begin each term with access to their required course material for a flat fee each term ($259/sem). Students would receive the latest versions, delivered primarily in a digital format. 

This fee is completely optional – students can make the choice to opt out, however many materials within the Faculty of Pharmacy are available for free through library access.

We’re thrilled to launch a new bar night this year: APSA Extended Release Summer!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 💫

It’s that time of the year again! Kami and Shelby are your APSA VP social co-chairs for this year. They are super excited to be planning orientation for the incoming class of 2030! We are holding orientation this year on Sunday, August 30th starting at 9 am and are looking for volunteers to help orientation run smoothly.

There is a google form in our bio where you can let us know if you’d like to volunteer and what position you might prefer. If you are interested in being a Mint Cup leader, we would love for you to keep this position throughout the year, but if this does not interest you please indicate that on the form.

Well done on making it though another year 💕 Good luck to everyone with placements, and to the fourth years with exams! Hope everyone has a restful and relaxing break!
