🎉 The new school year is almost here!

Our Meet & Greets begin Monday, August 24, giving students and families a chance to meet their educators, see the classroom, and connect with classmates before regular programming begins.

This will be followed by an initial 1-to-1 meeting with your child’s educators as we begin our transition period and help students ease comfortably into their new classroom routine.

Please check your email for your assigned Meet & Greet day and time, and make sure you have signed up for an initial assessment appointment.

More Than Preschool. A Learning Program With Purpose.

Meet Cody Cat and the beginning of something completely new at JumpStart.

This September, students will be introduced to our new JumpStart Adventure Park Alphabet Program; a proprietary, research-aligned literacy program developed specifically for JumpStart.

Cody Cat is the first of 26 Adventure Friends who make early literacy engaging and memorable by connecting letter names, sounds, phonological awareness, letter formation, movement, stories and memory cues in one intentional learning system.

But the characters are only part of what makes JumpStart different.

Foundational skills are taught explicitly, directly and in a carefully planned sequence within a structured, hands-on program. Our educators are trained to deliver the curriculum intentionally.

We also assess progress, set individual learning goals, and provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to help each child reach important literacy milestones, all through engaging Play with Purpose activities.

JumpStart can complement full-time daycare, with weekday and weekend options to make focused early education work for your family.

Keep learning strong this summer!

Our School Readiness Summer Program is designed for children entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 this September who would benefit from a strong review of key early literacy and numeracy skills before the school year begins.

Through fun, hands-on lessons, children build confidence with:
• Letter sounds, sound mats, and early phonics
• Word families, decoding, and beginning reading skills
• Counting, number recognition, ten frames, and number sense
• Addition and subtraction concepts
• Shapes, patterns, and early math vocabulary
• Interactive books, journals, and engaging learning activities
• Purposeful play and weekly themed centres that keep learning fun, creative, and social

This program is a great fit for children getting ready for Kindergarten, as well as children heading into Grade 1 who may need extra practice, review, or confidence after the summer break.

At Jumpstart, learning is purposeful, playful, and research-aligned. Our goal is to help children keep their skills growing over the summer while still enjoying the hands-on, playful experiences that make learning meaningful and fun.
