UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS: Agata Garbowska / hauntings and Friday Smith / fields.

August 29 - September 26.

We are so excited to be featuring two Edmontonians for our next exhibitions.

Although our exhibition pairings are largely dictated by happenstance, these two exhibitions feel balanced. Agata's large scale print installations and their meandering, wavy edges relate perfectly to the woven, amorphous forms that live within Friday's quilted prints. Although so different in approach, there's a reciprocated softness between both bodies of work that has us really excited! We're so fortunate to have both bodies of work with us into the fall, and we hope our community shows up for these folks to celebrate all that they've accomplished!

Mark your calendars! Check our website for more information about each artist and their practice! @.alrite

Members Print Exchange is back for 2026!!

Please submit expressions of interest via the Google form no later than September 30!

The members exchange is great for many reasons and we're so glad to be doing it again this year! Exchanges are the perfect way to acquire prints in exchange for your own artwork. In this case, you will make 10 prints and get 7 back (three for the SNAP archive and sales, and seven for other artists). Folks are free to work in any print medium and will have until November 28 to submit the physical work! You do need to be a support tier member to participate, so please make sure your membership is up to date before you submit your form!

Our theme this year is hungry and we know this will be a fun one for folks to play around with!

If you're new to the concept of a print exchange or have any questions, please reach out! We can't wait to see what folks come up with, and we promise to share more as it all comes to life!

Reminder - Join us for Nadia's talk this eve from 6-7!

Nadia Zamora Hernandez(she/her) was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and immigrated to Canada with her family in 2009. She holds a BFA from the University of Alberta (2025). She is an emerging artist whose work is inspired by the human body and explores the nuances and complexities of lived experiences. Her art fosters personal healing. She is driven by love–and by rage. She finds it necessary to make space for radical resistance and encourages artists to clutch onto advocacy. She cherishes her roots, gently holds them, and braids them into her diasporic experience.

We're excited to celebrate Nadia this evening, and we hope you'll join us for what is sure to be a great talk

Live Music at Steam Roller : !

Billie is going to be a huge part of our live entertainment at Camp SNAP and we're so excited to have her around to help us celebrate and vibe during Steamroller!

Heres a little more about Billie :

Effusive and thoughtful, without pretense yet still above board, Billie Z**i carves a distinct path marked by sonic abandon and a wild spirit. Now on her third studio album [Levitate, Oct 2024], she continues to prove herself as an exciting emergent voice in contemporary music.

Join us this Saturday form 5-9pm for a wild night of summer fun!

CAMP SNAP - Join us this Saturday to grab some of our hot new summer merch!! This Saturday from 5-9!!

Designed by our lovely Georgia Quinlan, our new tees and totes feature a little beaver paddling his way down the North Saskatchewan surrounded by strawberries and foliage! Georgia was thinking a lot about situating us in amiskwacîwâskahikan (which means beaver hill house in Cree) and in our ward, O-day’min or heart berry!

Stop by steamroller to grab a cute new tee or tote and support your fave Edmonton arts org!
