Teachable Moments Day Home Is a Family Day home that offers programming based on children's interests and developmental norms. Healthy meals, and snacks.

I operate a private day home, that is smoke free and cat friendly. My philosophy is family based learning with a balance of indoor and outdoor play. The children’s curriculum will reflect age appropriate goals, parental wishes and children’s interests. Social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional activities will be implemented on a daily basis’s. As learning develops there will be many teachable moment’s in which curriculum was not developed. I will do my best to capture these moments and investigate further the interest of the children and record the observation to further develop curriculum around their interests. This way the children will not lose interest in the particular activity. As a result the observations made will be the most important reflection of what has been learned in the day. As an Educator I will do my best at anticipating ways to enhance interests, create learning opportunities and have fun while playing and learning here at Teachable Moments Day Home. i hold my current first aid and security clearances and child intervention checks. I have over 15 years experience working with children.

Self-understanding isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about setting yourself up for success. At NeuroBears, we help young people recognise their needs, understand their own autistic identity, and build strategies that work for them.
