Comment “TAP” for some simple tapping exercises that can help integrate the Moro reflex. The Moro reflex can be one of the most stubborn reflexes to integrate + it is one reflex that can cause the most problems with kids. If you are seeing sensory sensitivities and sensory processing issues in your child or students, chances are they probably have a retained Moro Reflex. Kids with a retained Moro reflex often struggle with: 🫨Textures of clothing (zippers, tags, buttons, etc.) 🫨Loud noises (even a tapping of a pencil in class) 🫨Smells (gags, plugs nose or runs from the room with certain smells) 🫨Touch (loves big hugs, rough play or avoids hugs, hides when touched) 🫨Fight or Flight If you are having trouble with integrating the Moro reflex, try the following: #1 - Add Fear Paralysis Exercises because the two often go hand-in-hand #2 - Add a few tapping exercises to the legs and arms to see if it helps.
