We have exciting news - John Janzen Nature Centre is reopening on Tuesday, October 13! 🌿

The Nature Centre has been closed since April 2025 due to a catastrophic flood caused by a burst pipe. Now, after several months and an incredible amount of hard work, we’re ready to open the doors and welcome you back.

We will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and can’t wait to have you join us!

Take a walk on the wild side and learn how to live off the land! With Kinsmen Park as our home base, we’ll hike through the River Valley learning skills like shelter making, fire building, and edible plant identification. We’ll work together to find our way through the woods, stopping along the way to chill and enjoy nature!
