The benefit provides a payment of $561 per child to eligible parents who used licensed or unlicensed child care between April and December 2020.
A MyAlberta Digital ID is required to apply. You won’t need to wait to receive your activation code to apply for the benefit – but your driver’s licence or provincial ID will need to be current to set up the account. Make sure it’s not expired to avoid application delays: account.alberta.ca
You’re eligible to apply if:
➡️ you paid at least $561 or more for 3 months of child care services between April 1 and December 31, 2020 (bill or invoice required)
