Daisy Squires Suzuki certified violin teacher located in the Comox Valley accepting new students. She has been teaching since age 15 and playing the instrument since age 3.

Daisy Squires is a young, Suzuki certified violin teacher, originally from the Comox Valley. She has received training for Suzuki violin books 1-3, as well as Every Child Can. Daisy firmly believes in the Suzuki method and that every child (or adult) is capable of learning an instrument. She loves the challenge of teaching children as young as 2, but welcomes all ages and all levels. She is also proficient in fiddle styles. She began learning old time and celtic fiddle music at age 7 in a small community led group called FiddleJam, where she found her love of playing in ensembles. She enjoys teaching a blend of classical and fiddle violin. Daisy spends much of her summers touring with her mother's band, and has spent much time playing backup accompaniment for the band, as well as developing her improvisation skills, which she hopes to pass on to her students. Daisy teaches out of her home studio in Edmonton, AB. She is currently accepting new students.
