We enjoyed pancakes & sausages, shared a prayer, and made our Lenten promises before sitting down to eat.🍽️

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible parent council and volunteers who braved the snowy❄️, cold morning🥶 to arrive early and fill our school with warmth, kindness, and the delicious smell of pancakes. Your generosity, time, and dedication truly made this celebration special for our entire FLG community🩵

February 6, 2026 marks the start of the Winter Olympics! ❄️🇨🇦 To show our support, FLG students and staff proudly wore Canada’s colours today. Go Team Canada!

Supporting French Immersion learning at home is easier than you think. Every child can succeed in French Immersion, and every family can play a meaningful role in that success. Explore Oui Learn Together, a new online resource hub created just for French Immersion families. It offers practical tips, simple activities, and video resources to help with learning at home.

💡 The first topic is Oui Build Readers, featuring five easy ways to support literacy at home.

New topics will be released four times a year, each curated by ’s French Immersion consultants to make learning at home easier and more enjoyable.

Today our school community gathered in the gym to celebrate the Epiphany. Thank you to our Grade 3 team and Father George for helping us reflect, pray, and come together in faith. 🙏⭐

Let the best gingerbread house win! 1 quarter🪙 = 1 vote

Our staff is kicking off a friendly holiday competition with five teams building their best gingerbread houses! 🏠🍬 Houses will be on display starting December 10. Students can vote December 11–15 for 25¢ per vote and may vote as many times as they wish. The house with the most votes wins♥️and all houses will be entered into a draw on December 16. Winners will be contacted for pickup due to the delicate nature of the houses.

All proceeds will be donated to the ECSD Dream Maker Fund, which supports students facing financial hardship so they can fully participate in school activities. Thank you for helping us spread joy and make a difference this season!🎄✨
