Winter Walk Day is February 5, 2025.

The winters in Alberta can feel long and harsh for people who have moved from warmer climates - it can even feel that way sometimes to those of us who were born and raised in Alberta!

It is important for our mental and physical health to get outside and move our bodies. We need to experience the few hours of sunlight we have, and breathe the fresh air!

Winter Walk Day encourages people across Alberta to be active outdoors in winter. More than 800 organizations and 100,000 Albertans took part last year.

You can register for winter walk day here: https://shapeab.ca/winter-walk-day/

We would love to see photos of your walks!! Tag us!!
